The Center for Sustainable Development provides services to authors for the registration of copyright for a work and obtaining the State Certificate of

Registration of Copyright for a work.


Author certificates can be obtained for scientific articles, monographs, abstracts of conferences, methodological and other scientific materials, which are published in any publication or are being prepared for publication.


The availability of author's certificates for teachers of higher education institutions is provided for in Clause 38 Clause 2 of the CMU Resolution "On Approval of Licensing Conditions for Conducting Educational Activities" № 1187 dated December 30, 2015

Copyright

Copyright is a set of rights that belong to the author in connection with the creation and use of a work of literature, science, and art. Copyright protects the external form of expression of the work (novel, drawing, collection, photograph, etc.), that is, their "material embodiment". Copyright cannot be used to protect abstract ideas, concepts, facts, styles, and techniques
that may be used in a work.

It should be noted that when registering copyrights in Ukraine, a preliminary examination of similar works is not carried out, but only the date of registration is fixed.

The law establishes the validity period of property rights during the lifetime of the author and 70 years after his death (remuneration for the use of the work after the death of the
author is received by his heirs).

We draw your attention to the fact that the prices indicated are for copyright registration for works with no more than three authors. If the number of authors in the work exceeds three people, the additional payment for each subsequent author increases by 100 ₴. If there are several authors, the Certificate can be issued to each of them, subject to an additional payment of 150 ₴ per Certificate for

each co-author.

What is needed to make an application about
registration of copyright to the work
Select a work(s)
The author (co-authors) must select a work (works) for copyright registration. The date of writing (or publication) of the work does not affect the application process.
Prepare a set of documents
To complete an application for copyright registration, it is necessary to prepare a set of documents:
  • a copy of the work (format - .pdf);
  • power of attorney: if there are several authors, the power of attorney is drawn up for each co-author in a separate document (format - .pdf .png/.jpeg; download a sample).
Send a set of documents
The prepared set of documents must be sent via the online form or to the email info@csr.com.ua with the mark "Copyright".
Get confirmation
Our specialist will process the application and check the correctness of the documents. After checking the set of documents, a letter confirming the acceptance of the application and an invoice for payment will be sent. After paying the bill, the receipt must be sent to the e-mail info@csr.com.ua.

The average term of copyright registration is 60-90 working days.

The certificate of copyright registration for the work can be sent by Nova Poshta (at the expense of the customer of the service) or Ukrposhta.
